When your company has 800 million users, its success kind of speaks for itself. But the social networking giant Facebook also has its fair share of haters. In fact, Facebook ranks as the most hated company on the 10 Most Hated Companies in America published by 24/7 Wall St.
Facebook made its initial public offering (IPO) of stock last month. The offering and pricing had negative backlash and critics bad-mouthed the company for weeks. Mark Zuckerberg has done amazing things to grow the company and its revenues, but critics complain that the young CEO does little to publicly inspire his company's new shareholders.
Sometimes people will just hate popular and successful trends. The internet has a meme for that: Haters Gonna Hate. Is that the case for Facebook?

Facebook does sell user information, but it's mostly to marketing companies. And who cares if they also sell some to the NSA? I know you think they grab people from their homes at night, and sell their souls to the devil or whatever. But seriously unless you set your occupation to "Terrorist leader" or post lots along the lines of "I'm gonna blow up that building" they are not going to say or do anything. Or even find out for that matter.
They simply do not have the resources to monitor everything posted.

Do you know why you wont provide any evidence to back up your claim? I do. It's because you don't have any evidence to back up your claim.
I have previously looked for evidence, or even anything that would slightly suggest facebook is some evil mega-corporation, or branch of the NWO working with fema to convert all your children to socialist and replace mecidine with alchemy, or whatever it is your claiming today. Do you know what I found?
1) Details on their very specific & selective Advertising, where they pick out key words from your conversations and use it to provide you with relative adverts.
2) Websites like "Above top Secret" where people spread and inflate rumours.
1 of them is based in fact. The other is where you look.

I was referring to the whole "Person be ______ to me, I react in kind" approach I've taken to this conversation.
She has issues with all privacy concerns, she's a programmer herself so she knows how easily people can get to all your information through social websites like Facebook. She has deleted any trace of her on the internet too.
I got cussed out and terrorized by a deranged young lady today. Simply because she didn't like my opinion. If we can't share, accept, analyze, discuss...then WTF is this site about? (^.^)
The haters are probably jealous of the success of its founders and like Walmart, success in their eyes is evil. Wealth is something they feel entitled to and these people won't be happy until Facebook is brought down.
I have a Facebook account and haven't been on it for at least 9 months. It is a tool like any other service and if you like it great and if it isn't of much use to you, there is no need to trash the tool. Just don't use it if you don't like it!
