It seems awfully impractical to me. To me, it seems as though Facebook is locked in eternal puberty of some odd variety.

i actually like the whole cover thing where you can put a pic at the top and that s the first thing people see i think its cool! its a lot better then the boring old Facebook

I like the large picture at the top. I think it makes peoples' pages look more personalized. I don't like the way the wall is set up, though. The fact that it's in two columns makes it really confusing.

I like certain things like the headline thingy and the fact that you can browse trough years and months. I don't like how it looks right underneath that headlinethingy and that te timeline is in the middle and you have posts on both sides. I find that quite confusing.

I think it's quite visually pleasing, the layout is much easier to navigate, and the ability to jump to certain months and certain years is definitely a great feature.

Still no dislike button, though

Face book was annoying enough already. And now because some sexless tech nerds had nothing better to do they made the FB layout even more annoying then before. Kinda like what happened around here when ranks, levels and a leaderboard got added.

I kinda agree with you about the ranks and leaderboard, but I dont think that just because the maker of facebook can think as far as making a site that big world wide, makes them sexless tech nerds. Yeah maybe nerds, but I think they're rich enough to buy a sexlife now....-_-

I haven't figured out if it's a good thing or not. My first reaction to it was "WTF?" when I saw it on one of my friend's page. Doesn't look very well organized to me.

I haven't joined the masses with the Facebook timeline. It gives me a slight headache as it irks me a little bit when I try to read something on my friend's wall. Everything is all jumbled so I can only read the first three posts on their wall before getting lost.

It is interesting though to see the pictures that people put as their...uh...what is it called...the banner thing on the top (some of you might know the name). It'll probably take me a bit before I can settle into this and accept it.

I started using Timeline about a week before Dec. 24th, when it apparently became officially the outlook of the profile. I really like the look of it, it's fun.

Farcebook should debut a "quick load" feature.

How many are tired of waiting for a thousand files from a dozen different sites to be "accessed" "loaded" "fetched" "read" "contacted" while watching a progress bar move at the rate of an arthritic snail every time you access anything via Farcebook?

Sounds like he's using IE on dial-up. You couldn't pay me to use Internet Explorer as my default browser. I love Google Chrome.
