If same-sex marriage is legal then they should have same-sex marriage icons.

I don;t see a problem with it. Of course if they don't want controversy I'd be happy with something simple like a ring or something as a symbol that could stand for all marriage, not just hetero or same sex.

lol, but I'm not on Facebook, so I have absolutely no idea what the Timeline refers to. Have people been on long enough to have a substantial history?!

Makes sense since it'd be odd using a dude and girl icon for two two dudes or two girls then they're gonna argue over who's which lol.

You're a sad, sad example of a human in the 21st century if you oppose a program of zeros and ones that create a picture of two figures standing together.

why not? I see absolutely no problem with this. It would be strange for a same-sex couple that just got married to announce it on Facebook and have to use a man and woman icon. This is just a part of life.

There are people who are married in a same-sex marriage so they should be able to have their martial status shown in a descriptive icon.

why do they have to have little icons? why can't they just have 'married'? Personally I don't care and didn't even realize they had an icon for marriage. I thought it was all the same. But whatever
