The world of yoga continues to expand—this time to the face. Instead of doing traditional yoga poses like downward dog or the warrior pose, facial yoga involves contorting the face into a variety of expressions. These expressions, developed by Annelise Hagen of New York Yoga, are meant to keep people looking younger by acting as a natural, non-invasive alternative to botox or a facelift.
“The various faces have specific benefits,” Hagen told ABC News. “For example, the ‘fish face’ firms the cheeks and lips, while the ‘bumblebee’ affects the cheeks, lips and jaw. The ‘satchmo’ targets the cheeks, and the lion face is supposed to stretch all the facial muscles and release tension.”
The idea of making weird faces in an effort to prevent aging seems a bit crazy to us. But facial yoga certainly has its proponents. One fan is Dr. Neil Sadick, the go-to dermatologist for some of the stars of “The Real Housewives of New York.” He recommends facial yoga to patients as a way to stimulate the muscles and promote collagen production.

Satan is responsible for all disease , so when people practice yoga , he may ease up on ones' physical issues in order to deceive them into continuing this practice , instead of seeking Truth = ending up in the future Lake of Fire ...
I had to take a loooong break from it after my lung surgery. Just the thought of doing it after that made me weak on my stomach, because everything in and around my torso was so sensitive. It still is but it's better than it was. I'm just now getting back into it a year later... or TRYING too. :)
giving it the old college try.
