If given the choice between getting a sunburn on your face or wearing a Face-Kini, like the ones pictured below, which option would you choose? Apparently, the Chinese don't trust their suntan lotions, which make the best choice for avoiding a facial sunburn.

Just do not walk across the street to the convenience store with the nervous but well armed store clerk. ;)
There are these types of middle-aged women who are always out every day doing their swimming. (or they do jazzercise in parks or sing old hymns) but they are the very loyal types who are always out each day.
(I think this actually goes back to a kind of communist 'national health' sorta thing),
anyways,
While it is true many Chinese might want to emulate Westerners pale skin there is also cultural reasons where social status wants to show light winter skin as associated with princesses and scholars -versus- dark skin associated with poor rice farmers and labourers.
Interestingly, these ladies will suppose that light skin covers flaws and blemishes but think dark skin shows up flaws.
Anyways, the Face-Kini rules and I have every intention of buying some next time we are in China. Just the funniest greatest thing lol
I'd rather get a sunburn
Ugh, seriously??
Therefore, since I like pale skin on myself and I HATE when I get tan, I'd rather wear a Face-Kini than get a sunburn, which would eventually lead to a suntan, on my face.
