If given the choice between getting a sunburn on your face or wearing a Face-Kini, like the ones pictured below, which option would you choose? Apparently, the Chinese don't trust their suntan lotions, which make the best choice for avoiding a facial sunburn.

DAILYMAIL.CO.UK reports:
Forget staying indoors, applying sun cream or wearing wide-brimmed hats. Face masks are the must-have beachwear items sweeping China.

Well, when the choice is whether to suffer the pain of a sunburn or to look ridiculous, I'd choose to look ridiculous. But goodness! There are OTHER choices out there... I'd just use a decent sunblock and not stay out in the sun too long! ^‿^

    Indeed, my first thoughts too.

Come out with something called a "facekini" and try and make it "hip" and "cool".
In reality it's a burqini - and it's just a way of making it seem "normal".

What next, will they get Kate Moss to model the latest fashion in designer "face protectors".
A cloth that covers the head, leaving only the eyes on show - which of course is designed to protect against the harmful rays of sun which is a danger because of climate change?

"Oh, it feels so great to wear it! I feel liberated! This is the way forward in feminine control! And to know that it's environmentally friendly is a plus point too!"

Today I found why we will go to 2017 for economy recovery. We just want to stay poor; World stocks were mixed on Tuesday on renewed uncertainties over the European debt crisis, after a short-lived rally in Asia driven by the Chinese central bank's move to ease tight liquidity through open market operations. Early gains were supported by lingering hopes that the European Central Bank might buy bonds to help some European countries reduce their borrowing costs, though such speculation has been countered by denials by ECB officials of such plans, and signs from Germany that it opposes such moves. In early European trading, the FTSE-100 index of leading British companies rose 0.6 percent to 5,859.03 while Germany's DAX advanced 0.7 percent to 7,079.46. France's CAC-40 climbed 0.8 percent to 3,509.79. Wall Street looked set to open higher. Dow Jones industrial futures rose 0.2 percent to 13,256 while S&P; 500 futures added 0.2 percent to 1,417.50. Investors are looking for progress from Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras' visits this week to Germany and France, where he is expected to request an extension of Greece's deadline to meet fiscal targets as the country carries out painful reforms. The Hang Seng Index closed down 0.02% at 20,100.1. The China Enterprises Index of the top ...

For what I'm told, most north-east Asians believe that the sun harms the skin in long term. I have to say that, while Asians on their 40s look much more younger, people here in Europe that had their good sunburn dosage look like raisin people.

As girls usually tell me I look better in darker tones, I still wonder if it's better to be popular now or avoid to join the raisin minions later.

Also BB cream is quite popular in Asia. That also is a big part of them looking younger. While North America is recently jumping on the BB cream bandwagon, their BB creams are nowhere near as good as the ones in Asia yet. One in particular.

Wearing this to avoid a sun burn and then forget you're wearing it and head to the bank to withdraw some money... Oh yeah, this is going to work.

Whatever; yeah, sunburns suck, but then they heal. I'd rather just go for putting a little lotion on than putting on this ugly thing, though. They look like they're gonna go rob a fish bank or.. infiltrate some army fish base or some s**t. Goodness China, has it really come to this? Robbin' the fishies? Besides, it looks more like a call to avoid getting tanned than getting sunburned.

What if it is just a bit of sunburn, a slight tan, where your skin can generate vitamin D.
You name it as awful because of its health effects, the aesthetics or the fact that, with time you became like an old fruit?
  • xXChemi... correqu... 2012/08/22 07:40:12
    xXChemical_RomanticXx
You get vitamin D by even spending five minutes in the sun.

Umbrella work as good as a hat. These masks can be used in hold ups or robberies.
There are people who need some kind of facial mask because of the delicate skin, but in America, that would cause all kinds of problems since criminals where such things.
