Explain what created the god who later created the Earth?

God didn't need to be created.
God doesn't exist. (or God is a fallacy)

Seriously, I mean no insult. With the recent upswing in the evolution creation debate, I have found a gap in my knowledge. So far, I understand that God existed in blackness and then created a bunch of stuff to fill that blackness, but where did God come from? What made him? How do you start everything with nothing? I am an Atheist, but I like the historical relevance of religion.

As an atheist, lolita, maybe you can explain where the concentrated “blob” came from that exploded into the “big bang”?

It is the same question with a different approach, is it not? It can’t be explained…not yet, anyway.

I never claimed to know that. A simple undefined would suffice as far as an explanation to my question. I was legitimately wondering if there was an explanation, but it does appear to be an undefined.
    ...to answer your question, though:
Theoretically, the god particle. (The worlds greatest ninja to date) With the recent completion of an environment capable of showing the infamously unstable Higgs Boson, More research is to be expected. This boson appears to be capable of creating matter through a Higgs feild. (a bunch of loops that are beyond my understanding by a years worth of physics.) So far scientists are working on confirming it's existence. It's thought to have been seen twice in the large hadron collider ( a big particle accelerator: kind of like a mutant baby to the scientists that work with it.) since the LHC's completion. It's properties are very similar to what it has been thought to be by experimental research. Further research is necessary. It is promising, but still an undefined. Sorry about the length for a non-answer.
Edit: Clarified modifiers and fixed a punctuation error.

If the world needed a beginning and a creator, logically, that creator needed a beginning and a creator as well. I submit that neither needed a beginning, that the universe always was, and that God never was.

I know it's hard to be fully understood but there must be something that created anything else and thus was the first thing to ever exist. Nobody created it, it just was. Always.
The same way there is nothing beyond the Universe because there must be something that has everything else in itself.

If God didn't need to be created, doesn't it stand to reason that nothing needed to be created? If he always was, couldn't everything always have been?

I don't insist on God creating the world. I insist on some energy (be it God, Faith, whatever else you'd like to call it) taking care of its order and harmony.

That still suggests an intelligent creator. I guess my question is this: do you deny the POSSIBILITY that this all happened without the guiding hand of a god (by whatever name you choose)?

watch this if you want the explanation of how it is all possible.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?... and also atheism isn't belief in the big bang theory, it isn't an explanation of how the world was created.. it is simply the belief that it wasn't created by a god...and that there is no god. educate yourself before trying to start a debate,, watching that video will give you a good starting point

once i heard the words millions of years my point was prooved
as the earth slows down 1 second a year therefor every year you go back it goes a second faster and when you go a few million years back the centrifical force of the world spinning would have crushed dinosaurs and anything smaller than them the winds would have riped trees out of the ground
  • maybeim... king david 2012/06/12 11:50:37
    maybeimalion
erm no it doesn't... that is absolute BS if it did there would be more than 24 hours in a day by now and that would be easy to prove using science and a digital watch.... .... so god just put the fossils there to confuse us right? and things just turn into oil overnight? an there has never been an ice age despite all the evidence to prove it right?
  • king david maybeim... 2012/06/12 12:00:26
    king david
false false false and i'm going to go with false
it's a scientific fact and and using that digital watch only shows 24 hours a day it does not say that the world is not slowing down
also that could be that the world is not millions of years old
scientst are yet to agree how long it takes for a skeleton to fosilize there was a world wide flood covering the whole earth this could have been mistaken for "the ice age" oil is made out of organic materials under a large amount of pressure e.g the wieght of most of the earth

take a digital watch from 20 years ago.. If the world is slowing down. the watch would end up being fast after several months as it was manufactured to measure the length of a day 20 years ago!, the difference would be clear and as such it is a valid way of proving this BS theory wrong! Also please note that digital watches are not affected by gravity and centrifugal force like the mechnism in a real watch can be.
Scientists may not agree on the accuracy of carbon dating but you'll never find one who says that dinosaurs were than a million years ago.. also a world wide flood would take much longer to carve out valleys and mountains than large glaciers would.. so is totally contradictory to your argument that the world hasn't been around for millions of years. give it up already!.
  • king david maybeim... 2012/06/12 12:44:55
    king david
god opened the vallies and rose the mountains and the water receded the poles froze
and a digital watch is likely to die by over 20 years also the extra second a year is called a leap second you can google it
Since 1972, a total of 24 seconds have been added. This means that the Earth has slowed down 24 seconds compared to atomic time since then.

This does not mean that days are 24 seconds longer nowadays. Only the days on which the leap seconds are inserted have 86,401 instead of the usual 86,400 seconds
  • maybeim... king david 2012/06/12 13:34:39
    maybeimalion
im sorry but thats all wrong... explain drop stones without glaciers...
digital watches are only likely to die over 20 years if they are used. take one which has never had abattery inserted and it wont have deteriorated at all. and like i said the earth slowing down can easilybe proved wrong! leapyears exist because it takes 365 and 1/4 days to orbit the sun and it always has done for much longer than you say.. the concept of leap years were introduced into the roman calendar over 2000 years ago to account for the extra 1/4 day in the earths orbit of the sun....,the leap year hasn't changed in length since.. do your research. cos you're failing miserably.
  • king david maybeim... 2012/06/13 03:41:51
    king david
a leap second is based that the word is rotating slower on its axis
it rotates around the sun at teh same rate it's the amount of time it takes to turn on its axis that is slowing down
  • maybeim... king david 2012/06/13 04:50:15
    maybeimalion
so explain why a digital watch from 20 years ago can still keep time? If the rotation of the earth slowed down you would encounter two problems. a) the days would be longer and a digital watch wouldn't be able to keep time as stated earlier.
    b) reducing the centrifugal force of a planet also reduces gravity, therefore the earth would slow down in its orbit of the sun and eventually drift off into space, so much for gods grand design huh?

well thats admirable and I respect that :)
though you may have miscalculated the intelligence if your opposition in this case... don't be decieved by my age you need to present a really strong argument, possibly even conclusively prove that god exists if you are to succeed and that is precisely what i am asking you to do.

This is entirely wrong. Atheism is the belief that we don't know where everything came from, and that perhaps it was simply always here, in one form or another, and that over eons, all of that which already existed, and was in constant motion; eventually came to where it is. And it isn't your beliefs that we mock. It's your certainty that your beliefs are correct, despite mountains of evidence to the contrary.
