Oh we have a few other ideas too we know us from something else. Plus we understand spacial ideas such as left or right. up or down, But not much else.
That is not at all true. We are born with basic instinct, like crying because we our tummies hurt, or because we have gas. We KNOW absolutely NOTHING. Knowledge comes from paying attention, reading, listening, comparing one thing to another, and retaining what you learn. Some people spend 16 or more years in school, and never learn a thing - they just go through the motions and do what they need to do to pass.
Wisdom is knowing, but having the sense to know when to properly apply what you know. For example - I know how to rebuild a car engine. That doesn't make me wise because I know how, it only makes me wise when I use my knowledge to do it right. There is an old saying "You have to know when to hold them, and know when to fold them". Like when playing poker. THAT is wisdom. THAT requires EXPERIENCE.
