Had them as an adult. The best thing I ever did as it transformed me into the person I thought I could never be in more ways than one. I still thank my orthodontist for being my Michelangelo.
One of my back baby teeth didn't have an adult tooth to replace it so they tried to bring my most back tooth forward or something but then instead it ended up shifting the rest of my teeth on the bottom rather than that one and so now my top teeth are nice and centered while my bottom ones are off centered. It's not immediately noticeable to those who don't know me but I had damn near perfect teeth before they went in and I notice it every single time. I hate off centered things.
I had braces from the age of 32-35 because my teeth were so bucked, I could not close my mouth. I had terrible inferiority complex. Hated dentists, too but I decided to do it on my own once I had a steady job, even without any dental insurance. It was one of the better things I had done and my face was transformed for the better that I called my orthodontist my Michelangelo.
I thought I was going to need them as a kid because I had a rather large gap between my front teeth. My teeth closed up quite nicely on their own, though.
but now all the poplar kids have them so no teasing think god
