No. I've helped to raise the kids of family and friends. It usually left me a bundle of raw seething nerves at the end of each encounter because I was so deathly afraid I would drop the baby.

No, but when my son was about 3 weeks old I swatted at a fly that had landed on him to scare it off and accidentally bopped him in the head. He wasn't hurt, but it scared him and I felt terrible.

Don't think I've ever dropped a baby (knock on wood) but I have sat on one. When my brother was just a few days old and I was six years old I ran into the living room and sat on the couch. I immediately jumped up when I felt something under me. My baby brother was there on the sofa. It terrified me! I ran out of the living room crying and screaming,"I killed my brother!" He was okay but it sure gave little six year old me a fright.

One of my cousin's kids. I was 12 at the time, and I did it right in front of my cousin too. Thankfully, it wasn't from a great height. It was traumatic for me (as well as my cousin), and it still haunts me to this day. I'm not kidding.

No, I've never dropped a baby but, you know who's hard to hold onto? A two year old, when they put there arms up and their armpits disappear. There's nothing to hold onto and they just slip right through you hands. It amazes me.
