Have you ever gone out on a date or two with someone completely out of your league? Your wondering to yourself what am I doing here? It turns out what you realized all along? You figured it was a waste of your time or did you do it to get to someone else. I realized that sometimes it worked to my own benefit. Somehow it makes you more attractive to someone in your own league when news gets around. It makes the inevitable not such a big deal after all.

Yea my friends never believe I'm dating who I'm dating until I introduce them I always end up dating girls ten times more attractive then me, my charm makes up for it lol

I thought so at first - and when I got to know her she had flaws and insecurities as anybody else.

Well not 'out of my league' but certainly someone with whom I had nothing in common and did say to myself, "what on earth are you doing here?"

I have found myself in moments of introspection on dates and in relationships where my inner dialogue is saying "what on earth is this person doing with me" ?
