Yea me also very fascinated with the electric chair. I would definitely choose to be juiced in the chair. I wonder if you feel the jolt as you slam back into the chair when they hit the bottom.
I picked Electric chair and it gave me this one, but oh well. If I did something so wrong they were going to put me to death, then I deserve to get a painful one. But if I didn't do anything bad then I guess it would be Lethal injection.
Oh hell, just let them go and point Dexter at 'em. He'd take care of the problem and save the taxpayers a lot of money on appeals and prisoner upkeep for the twenty years they'd be sitting around on death row.
Actually, I think Hanging or firing squad would be better deterrents to criminal behaviour. If it is ghastly enough, people won't want to commit capital crimes. I'm sure to catch flak for this, but, if a crime is bad enough to kill someone over, Humane is the last thing I'd worry about.
I'm against the death penalty therefore I could not vote so I'm replying to bo beep. Where I grew up till 75 they used the garrote and my family experienced and I along with them but as a child many executions where people were convicted by military courts.it was horrible. I remember the cries every time we found it that they went ahead with it (which was always) Obviously now they don't have the death penalty and I think most western European countries don't have life in prison.25 years is the max.
Put them down like they do dogs or horses.
If they did hanous things..rape/kill/tourture a child?
Those would be to good for those POS's maybe go native and chain them to the sand in the middle of the desert...till they die:)
I think it would be cruel to put someone in the electric chair. And if we are going to be cruel, how does that make us any better than the one sentenced?
Lethal injection is controversial largely because of the 2nd of the 3 chemicals used. The 2nd one is called pancuronium bromide and its function is to paralyze you. Some fear that it undoes the effect of the 1st chemical, sodium thiopental, which is a powerful anesthetic, designed to make you unconscious. People worry that you are then paralyzed and conscious as the 3rd chemical, potassium chloride (used a salt-substitute!) stops your heart.
So then my question is: why do we need the 2nd chemical. If you're strapped in and unconscious, why you also need to be paralyzed?
i had to shut it down and restart, couldn't type. really a bullet in the head is best, i'm a electrician, sure makes a mess.you do know i believe in save all fix all. i also believe we just putting the to sleep. if that be true, we gonna have a mess at ressurection. but, then again i believe we are only what our health will allow, so if god worked his magic we'll be okay. not saying we wnt have to do our part.."even if this is, all for naught , we have made a good fought"
you die quicker and with the lethal injection you're paralysed whilst you slowly suffocate for 10 minutes maybe longer :L
regardless I'm completely against any methods for the death penalty and the death penalty itself though hanging is probably the most humane
That would hurt like hell and take quite a while.
