Purple Pinto ~PWCM~JLA 2012/11/18 16:11:06Its even worst, they are 'out of control!'+4This is what the entitlement system produces. A sense of entitlement. Go figure. Did you see Judge Judy driving her point home with Burt the Bailiff first? Wanna bet that had prior conversations where Burt was soft on this entitlement system?

Our public schools made us the greatest nation in all of history. The Leftists took notice of that and got into the universities in the latter 1920s and into the high schools in the early 1960s and set about changing that. The riots beginning in the 1960s gave proof to the leftists' success and it has been down hill since then.
Our public schools must be taken back from the leftists if we are to return to greatness.
Mondale based his 1984 campaign on the promise entitlements. If it happened before, I hadn't noticed it. Mondale is speaking and I am thinking how far the Dems have sunk since 1960 and JFK's, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". I guess LBJ and his Great Society set it in motion. I know FDR started some stuff, but with the Depression and WWII, times were tough and most people still sought to make it on their own.
Scottish political philosopher, Tyler said, "A democracy can last until the politicians realize that they can buy votes with the people's own money". If that is not Tyler's quote it is de Tocqueville's and Tyler's is only slightly different.

People, usually Leftists, say that those who forget the lessons of history are doomed to repeat the mistakes. This quote is by what passes for a philosopher according to Leftists and when they cite this quote it is always misapplied.
Our politicians learned the lessons of history, especially the failings, and replicated them here.
Hugs to you and Happy Sunday!
Ppl quit saying its because he's black. It's because he is stupid. It's because he doesn't care. It's because he's lazy. It's socialism at its finest. It's what Obama wants."
(((ALLEN WEST SAID IT BEST WHEN HE CALLED THEM COMMUNIST!)))
