I can imagine what the advertisement for it would be.
"Lick my armpit!"
"Mmmm... Tasty!"

The 21st century has provided consumers with products that are innovative and head-scratching. Edible deodorant might fall into the latter category. That's right, you can now purchase a product that will not only combat the pesky body odor from your armpits, but will also satisfy your appetite.
The Belgium-based Beneo has created Deo Perfume Candy, also known as edible deodorant, which is available for purchase on Amazon.com. The benefit of edible deodorant, according to the PerfumeCandy.com website, is that it makes your sweat sweet. In other words, if you apply--and eat the deodorant--your sweat won't smell, or at the very least, won't smell too bad, or bad at all. Your sweat might actually smell good!
In theory, if a consumer used the edible deodorant enough times by applying it and ingesting it, their sweat could possibly change its smell permanently and for their benefit. However, the product hasn't been out long enough for the everyday consumer to know if there are any bad side effects of eating deodorant. Well, outside of awkward looks from your friends and family.
