We're not sure we've ever seen anything more hideous than what you're about to behold: "drop-crotch" jeans. They're slowly gaining popularity off the runway and they're even available at the GAP, the "Today" show reports.

"Fashion is always looking for ways to transform and shift shape," said "Today" style editor Bobbie Thomas. "At least these low-riders start above the bum, unlike the popular men's style. While this may be offensive to some, so are the rib-waisted, high-rise denim styles circa 'Three's Company.'" Well, we weren't planning on wearing the rib-waisted, high-rise denim styles circa "Three's Company," either!
Drop-crotch jeans look like skinny jeans -- until you get to the mid-thigh. At this point, they begin to look like the offspring of boyfriend jeans -- which only look good on a select few -- and harem pants, which look pretty awful on everyone. Perhaps supermodels might be able to pull them off -- "while making the rest of us look like we were wearing adult diapers," Refinery29 quips.
We recently lost a few pounds, so we're finally able to rock the skinny jeans trend that doesn't seem to be going everywhere. But the drop-crotch look is taking it too far. Anyone want to bring back the bootcut?
