In the context of that discussion, she said to me words to this effect: "Your relationship with your partner is different from a heterosexual relationship." It was in that context that I pointed out the difference was superficial, like the difference between black people and white people (their skin color). You chimed in and wanted to take me on this tangent of abuse and vitriol, and I just wasn't interested.
