I am not married but I do let Sweeney (my dog) sleep on the foot of my bed sometimes when he wants to. As long as he doesn't mind my tossing and turning.

Nope, not in the bed. If I sleep on the floor and the dog wants to come lay down next to me, fine. But not in my bed.

:) My daughter has a dog and a guinea pig. The dog sleeps on its own pillow on the floor, and sleeping with a guinea pig would be just way too weird.

Yup. They let me have the space that's left over after they've found their comfy spots.

Yes, but not often, it's their choice though. They seem more to want to nap with me, when I'm on the couch.

Yes to the question, no to the husband. Or the peeing babies.

Of course my dog sleeps in my bed. Any crook who wants my body has to get over his body, first. He does me no good chained out in the backyard, on the porch or even in another room.

And, if he thinks it's his bed, he's that much more eager to protect it.
