I was married, but just couldn't make it work out. I used to cringe when I heard him pulling into the garage each night. Marriage should be about an effort to make the other person happy, and vice versa. Otherwise, the sex ends, money gets hidden and tempers can fly.

Yep, it is true some marriages are happy. I've known my husband since middle school. We got married a year after high school and have been married for almost 17 years. He is still my best friend and the person I want to be w/ most, well our 11 year old daughter too.

there are moments it sucks, but in the long run of things I'm glad to have found my hubby:) we have a 15 year age difference, him being older. so sometimes he kinda treats me like his kid instead of his wife & that is the part that pisses me off!

We've been married 23 years. Sure we've had our ups and downs.
I think a sense of humor is important. I could be so mad and keep asking, "What do you think? What do you think?" He'll look at me and say, "Hell, if I tell you what I think, you'll just tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about!"
Naturally, I LMAO and realize how stupid the whole argument is and move on!

I've been divorced for awhile. We get along better now than we did when we were married. We were married for 17 years. My kids finally begged me to divorce him because they knew how miserable and lonely I was. Now I'm just lonely. lol

Marriage is like anything else in life worth living for, you've gotta work for it. It isn't just a piece of paper, some rings, and a common dwelling. It has its ups and downs.

It isn't always fantastic, but all along it is much better to reap the rewards of a healthy marriage you worked for, than to just cruise through life with blinders on.

No my marriage doesn't suck, but it has at times. I think that all marriages have good times and bad times. Things you just have to work through. For the most part, we have Great Times!!! We have been married for just over eleven years and have two children. I consider my husband my best friend.
