THERE ya go. The guy feels contented without a condom and translates this to the female, making her feel they are getting closer and are "committed"... then they continue to go without.

And the wheel goes round and round.

I'd be terrified to have unprotected sex. I don't want STDs or a baby, goddammit.

They forgot to mention that ladies that have unprotected sex have only one partner for years or married. ;-)))) And women that "protect" themselves have one night stand almost every night. ))))

well, I'm sure skin on skin feels a lot better than skin on plastic! I don't see why that would carry on throughout the rest of your day and night though. Also, I think those who are at least having sex are healthier and happier than those who aren't, protected or unprotected!

Maybe there is a weird bunch of women dying to get pregnant! However - I just don't get it. I never wanted kids and never had any! I am female and took control of that issue! I wanted control of my life and had it!! I am very happy about it also. Without the kids I never wanted!!!

If you look at this study in the context of a faithful marriage, the results are just stating the obvious.

Humans lie- how many faithful marriages exist?
  • Marcus ... Bibliop... 2012/08/29 06:05:47

Yes, that is true. And yes, many do. You don't generally hear much about the faithful marriages unless you are personal friends with the couple. Faithfulness (as well as any other good trait) does not make the news.

Personally I don't really care one way or another if I have sex. I've got a lot of scar tissue from 2 years of rape. I can't feel any pleasure or anything.. So for me it doesn't matter if its protected or not I can't feel a thing (I'm on the depo shot)...

If you are in a relationship, and neither of you has STDs and you are on the rod or pill, then yes it is nature's way. Sex makes us happy and is the greatest distraction from depression, loneliness and death and suffering... If everyone was having great sex there would be a lot less grumpy, angry people in the world.

Who funded this study? I guess so long as the women isn't ovulating and knows her partner is free of STDs then it would be less stressful but honestly this sounds more like correlation rather than causation?
