I'm paranoid as it is, and when it comes to sex that paranoia multiplies by tenfold. I would prefer unprotected sex to be with someone I completely trust and am sure that there is as little risk for contracting STD's or getting pregnant as possible.

Good on you if you have it, but I still like my way.

I think we (both men and women, whether exposed through hetero or homosexual sex) share something chemical that is of biological value to our mental health, when exposed to each others bodily fluids. And synthetic hormones (bc pill) and latex will add problems and put up barriers to this advantage, however, there is an equal downside to getting exposed to these biological fluids, such as pregnancy and disease. You can't win all the way.

from a primal standpoint. i wouldn't be happier about worrying over pregnancy or possibly catching something....buuut deep down all we want as a human race is food, shelter and sex to make babies so we can keep going...

Of course, the only situation in which regular, unprotected sex is when both parties in the couple have tested negative for any and all STDs and are in a committed, monogamous relationship. Having that stability alone makes most people happy!

Search me. I had an ex who was on an antidepressant himself. Yeah, there was sperm all over the place.. I was having multiple orgasms.. that's what made ME happy. Then when we went to sleep, he was usually poking me in the back with his elbow, wouldn't move over and was kicking the covers off... this part did NOT make me happy.

Maybe HE needed another's sperm to make him happier....
