It's the latest version of the Jesus in the grilled cheese sandwich. A Dakota City, Nebraska, woman thinks she sees George Washington in her Chicken McNugget, and now she's selling it on eBay, The Sioux City Journal reports.

You have to admit it ... it does kind of look like the first president's profile. But before you write this off as some sort of moneymaking scam, read on: Rebekah Speights is selling the McNugget to raise money for children at the Sioux City Family Worship Center. The church is trying to raise $15,000 to send 50 children to summer camp, The Sioux City Journal reports.
And while you might not want an old, cold Chicken McNugget lying around your house, within the first hour of being online, it already had one bid for $100. It gets even nastier: Speights has been holding on to the McNugget for three years. "I looked down at the McNugget and just started laughing," Speights told the paper. "I saw this portrait of George Washington staring back at me."

Tricia Yanney, children's minister at the church, believes the McNugget is part of God's plan. "I was totally amazed that it really does look like Washington's profile," she said. "God works in unbelievable ways, and God put it in her heart to do this." Do you think the McNugget looks like George Washington?

Dave0626 2012/02/25 04:14:36No, that's ridiculous

I just grab 'em and eat 'em.
However, I do wonder why school lunches are so %$#@ing unhealthful!!!
"Something needs to be done." Like what? And by whom? Fat people have a "plethora of choices" of what to eat. They, apparently, don't make good choices. If you want to "do something" about it, what are you going to do but tell them what they can and can't eat?
You sound like a fatist.
And my original comment was about Michelle Obama. I'm pretty sure she DOES want to tell people what they can and can't eat. Everyone except her "cheeseburger and fries" husband, that is...
