In these erratic times, if they would stop me from wanting to fly it would just be because they are not doing a very trough job, and not the opposite!

Ridiculously high plane tickets and horribly managed airplane companies do.

No... not really... I just view them as a necessary useless evil.. like Mall Cops.

It beats the alternative of driving across the US.

It does make us want to stop but flying is the only way to get to some places quickly. Being nudist we enjoy going to the nudist resorts in Jamaica, the Bahamas, etc. Since we are going somewhere we are going to be naked 90% of the time we pack very lightly. The last 2 times we went I dressed very lightly, ie, short shorts, plain white clean t-shirt and cheap rubber flip flops. I was pulled aside both times and told I looked suspicious because of my lack of clothing. Go figure...*

Yes I did and let them know all I was wearing was what they saw. No bra and no underwear and I kicked off my flip flops and said...next?

I stopped flying commercial. Unless I can fly charter - I drive. If I want to be groped, I'd prefer it be someone more sexually attractive than some fat moron TSA creep.

I get stopped every time. Over time I learned all the rules, I have followed them and even gone to great lengths to appease them. I still get stopped. I have to be on some kind of list because nothing else explains their behavior.

Mostly because when they stool push the costumer before you, they do not change gloves when they start your Proctology examination. A problem for the CDC in transmitted diseases.

I fly a couple of times a year,(I am flying Thursday matter-of-fact), and I have never had any issues with TSA at all....they have always been appropriate and respectful..I fly in and out of Hartsfield a lot and that place is always jumpin...but even there its always a peice of cake...
with all the P>I>A'S they probably end up dealing with ....they do pretty well in my book

Unfortunately I live in/out of planes for my business so I've been lucky to have perks to help get through lines faster.. Pre-Check is great and having flight status allows me to zip through so it's not a big deal.. But it always amazes me how one airport can differ from another and how one line differs from another.. Some lines are efficient and some just take forever.. Drives me nuts

Screw the TSA, one of these days we'll have a sensible administration again and they'll remember that one of the founding fathers said, "Those who would give away...liberty for ...safety deserve neither."

Yeah, about when I learned air travel included free mammograms and hysterectomies by high school drop outs off the street. Not sure if that was before or after the radiation scanners, definitely sure it was before "breast bomb" "enhanced pat downs."

There are so many atrocities happening with the TSA. The worst I heard of was that they checked an innocent baby's diaper! The video of the embarrassed little boy that had to take his shirt off and be groped was horrible. Most good parents wouldn't get on on the flight, if they found the TSA was going to do that to their child.

I wonder how much revenue the airlines have lost due to people not flying? I guess that was part of the plan, though.
