    To be honest, looks DO matter. But subjectively. In a relationship w/a physical aspect there has to be some type of attraction, otherwise things will cool quickly. But this attraction has to do w/what each person finds appealing, not what society & media hold up as "beauty".

    should be an inbetween answer, but when you first see someone, it is their looks that keep your attention and then when you meet the person, their personality takes over and if your attracted to them then and them you, something could develope. But i've seen really beautiful women who i don't fancy and plain women who i do...so it is purely down the the other persons personality in the end....

    I was always into the looks until I realized that beauty fades. I'm forty now. However, when I was younger, I sure did appreciate the beauty in a woman. However, now I've realized a lot of things, and I guess you could say I've gained wisdom. The truth is that everyone looks their best when they're young, but no one keeps youthful beauty forever. So, trying to bag someone for simply looks is also vanity and ridiculous. What's really sad is that when we're young, we have this immortal mindset. A lot of people don't realize how short life is and how tomorrow things start to fade away.
