Does knowing that there isn't a Santa Claus worry you that when you have kids, that you won't be able to pretend for them that there is a Santa Claus when really there isn't?

Santa Claus, Saint Nicholas did exist. I don't focus too much on Santa Claus, Christmas is more than that and I am not talking about any religious aspect. Christmas can be a magical time, Christmas is sometimes what you make it.reply -

I don't know though some still remember the real meaning of Christmas. Recently I went to a shop where they were clearing out due to the recession and the shop/firm was closing. I felt for these two young people who faced the dole queue once the stock was gone.reply

- Angi Fantasy... 2011/12/08 20:34:44What I mean by that is if the bankers are reminded not to be so bloody greedy everyone might have a better year. Who knows. I recently went to see a Pantomime and they did Scrooge and it definitely struck a cord with what is happening today. Obviously their are some differences.reply

Actually- I pretended I still believed when I knew there was no Santa because I thought it would guilt my parents in to giving me what they otherwise would not. If Mom and Dad said they could not afford it- then I'll ask Santa- knowing there was no Santa. Unfortunately for me- Mom and Dad were too sharp to fall for it.reply

I don't know what I had felt when I had found out that santa wasn't real, but I hope that I will be able to keep the magic of santa real while my future kid grow up, but with my luck, I will just mess it all up.reply
