Depends what I am being old to deal with.
Though being told or ordered about anything by most people gets on y erves I guess.

Maybe it's because I'm too old and out of touch with the younger generation, boy I thought I never be saying that, but exactly how is the word troll being used in this context here in an Internet blog? I've seen it being used several times. Does in mean like "to prowl," or is there another meaning for it in this context?

A 'troll' is someone who posts something offensive just for the reaction and to make people mad online.

It depends greatly on the context of the situation. If someone has a genuine complaint, problem, or issue that is genuinely hurting them and making their lives miserable; then no, I don't say "deal with it." Invalidating is the realm of sociopaths. In other situations, I use the phrase frequently. For example: "Oh, the line at the airport was so long!" or "I have so many customers at my job and they make me do actual work!" or "People smell like sweaty gym socks on the bus." Know what? Deal with it!

Life is hard and the thing you learn as you get older is that most of the things that you face in life, you have no control over. Not any at all. So, learning to "deal with it" is accepting the fact that you're not going to hold on to things you have no influence over and you find that you're a more content person.

of course... if you have a problem you expect people to be there, don't you? honestly. i was a loner, i had no friends, and i learned to deal with things myself. and yes, that was very hard. i had no one... so... it is hurtful when people tell you to 'deal with it' because seriously, if only they knew. honestly.

It never used to until I had a really big problem and the one person I thought I could to for comfort told me to "get over it", now I hate hearing it even if it isn't directed at me.
