Our daughter is like having a little heaven with us always... The world through the eyes of a child is an amazing world.

It melts and it still gets eaten and digested and then the bacteria in your gut makes it into a well known waste product.

Yea, you would have been surprised had she said :
Why daddy, don’t be silly, the ice creams frozen solid form was changed by the coffee being a higher tempeture, so its structure was changed into a liquid matching that of the coffee.
And when you drink your coffee the ice cream again changes inside your body separating it's chemical structure to liquids and solids, and when you purge that substance from your body with a bowl movement and urination the changed structure of the ice cream enters the sewer system where it changes again into a crystallized solid after some of it evaporates into the air that we breath, and the rest of it is entered into the cycle once again as fertilizer to make things grow, like the vanilla bean they make ice cream with.
