there's still one of these Drive-Ins of yesteryear ..
located near the family farm ..
I even took my nephews there for a movie a few times ..
it was just a lot of fun and good memories ..

I remember hearing that someone had torn down the last of them. This after they tried building low-power FM stations so that you could hear FM stereo sound in your car. That is, if you could afford the gasoline to keep your car running for two hours.

Some still exist !!!
If they had such things today I would not go unless I was armed.
We would go in my dads motorhome and park in the back row, and my mom would make dinner in the motorhome kitchen as we watched the movie. We could even lay down in the beds to watch the movie, and had our own bathroom. Was great times.
I still see a drive in theater every once in a while, and think of those good times we had as a family.
