I quite agree. After my husband passed away I wrote a number of poems expressing my grief. No one has ever read them but me. I reread them from time to time and am reminded of how sharp that grief was when it was fresh and how grateful I am that time has done its job of mostly healing that wound.reply
- Harold Vennie 2012/06/13 20:54:49It's funny that I answered this yesterday because later on while going through paperwork I found a poem I had written on my computer a while back, and printed it off. I read it over again not quite understanding why I wrote what I did or what inspired me to write it in the first place. It's interesting where our minds will go when we sit down to write things out.reply
