Do you worry too much about consequence and the future?

Online, I'm the real imperfect me that helps people and gets himself into trouble all of the time by telling people too much. Yet, my real life self is still me, but a more socially acceptable me that worries about consequence, the future, saying the wrong things, and so forth; carrying about my privacy and ramifications of helping and allowing people into my life. However, how do I merge these two identities into a stable personality that is the same on and off? Should I risk myself and get into dangerous situations and not worry about it or do I remain socially acceptable and agreeable because I never display myself? People love people who are quiet because they don't contend with them. I say this because there is a friendly girl that keeps coming up to me in the transitional housing and saying how she loves me and my fiancee and acting like she wants to get to know us, but then she just goes on and I feel like just asking outright like my online self: Want to get to know each other and stand still... lol Because she is always moving...

Using forsight in making a decision is the best way to make a decision. It is how good decisions are made. Weighing out the pros and cons of a situation can prevent a lifetime of regret.

Indeed, but can doing so limit you from acting on things you should do because you are over doing it and over protecting yourself?

It is a possibility. For me, I am very selective about who I let close to me and I am sure there were times when I passed up on friendship or something more because I over thought it, but I will never really know. There is no simple solution to making a decision on a person or a situation since the factors of each are always different. If you have doubts about a person or a situation, trust your gut because there is probably a reason why you have those doubts.
