YES! But, not those.. RalphLauren.. I'm not a label worshipper, but that is ONE luxury I afford myself. That and a nice handbag every couple of years. I do, however, have a couple of very stylish $10 sunglasses I picked up at the Sunglass Hut.

I actually tend to need them more on overcast days because there's more glare.

They are actually good for your eyes, other than looking great on most people. Sunglasses help protect your eyes from damaging UV rays, for one.

My parents made me wear them when I was but a little lass - now I wouldn't go outside without them. Could be why I don't have deep wrinkles all around my eyes now!

In my (projected) half life I've tried many though until wuite recently haven't found a pair that was comfortable on what I'd like to call my Jewish nose.

I finally found a pair from the servo (gas station for you yanks) that I quite like. They are a low general spectrum light tinted, UV protection (though not recommended for welding) and mid velocity impact predilection pair of aesthetically ugly sunnies.

Me too, but clip on sunglasses have come a long way. In my town I can find them at Shoppers Drug Mart and Walmart. I prefer the ones from Shoppers because the Warmart ones are a little flimsy, although they do come with a nice case.

I really don't like sun glasses at all. My eye doctor gives me a bad time because I have maculear degeneration and am slowly going blind, but I hate seeing things in the dark or altered state. I like seeing things as they are.

I've heard that one of the most common causes of maculear degeneration is consuming aspartame.

"Aspartame actually can cause macular degeneration and anyone with it using aspartame is just speeding up blindness." http://drleonardcoldwell.com/...

"You may remember that during prohibition thousands went blind or died on wood alcohol. This is what is in aspartame. It's a methyl ester which immediately becomes methanol or wood alcohol, and then converts to formaldehyde and formic acid in the retina of the eye and destroys the optic nerve. The medical text, Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic by H. J. Roberts, M.D., http://www.sunsentpress.com has a chapter on the eyes and goes through the many eye problems triggered by this deadly excitoneurotoxin from optic neuritis to macular degeneration to blindness." http://www.mpwhi.com/nfb_aspa...

You can go blind on a sunny day in the winter if you don't wear sunglasses. In fact, the people of the Arctic were the first to make them.
