OMG yes I love my converse <3 i've had the same pair for almost 4 years now they are a little beat up but it gives them more character they look better that way.
They're not my style. And I also have arthritis in my feet and have to wear orthotic shoes. Luckily they come in many very nice styles to choose from even if they are expensive to buy.
but i probably won't be buying many more pairs. when nike took over they started making them cheap and the rubber rims want to retract when their washed. ill always keep a black pair though. I like vans better though.
I have a pair of low top chucks with stars and stripes on them, two pair of high top chucks one black and one customized with pink, zebra stripes, etc.
Then I have a bunch of generic type shoes that look just like chucks. Airwalks to be exact.
I love them! I have a black pair and a black metallic pair (which I wanted to find a dress to where I could have worn my metallic converses to prom, but other people didn't like that too much...lol)
that is all i ever wear.. my old ragged black low tops. when i get a job and have enough, i'm going to get reverse classic high tops, white with black rubber
