I think Labradoodles are one of the best choices for a family pet. Bred correctly, they are hypoallergenic, shed minimally and are absolutely adorable. My aunt (a dog breeder) disagrees. She doesn't think that they are cute, and claims they are way overpriced, and overall a passing "designer dog" fad. What do you think? Do you want a Labradoodle?

I want one so bad but my picture of my dog bites.So, i put him in my bed room and give him a treat.When i go bye him he bit me.

I AGREE - this breed would make a GREAT family dog - - however, I am NOT willing to pay the prices people think they are worth right now. NO WAY would I pay $2,000.00 for any DOG.

I prefer real labs and real poodle (the poodles who actually look like dogs)

My lab is so much cooler than some "designer" breed.

ok um..look gonna explain this to you: a labradoodle is NOT designer breed, it was an accidental breed, when a lab and poodle mated, thats what made it, no one "designed" the labradoodle -.-

It may have been an "accident" at first, but now it IS considered a designer breed.

They now breed them selectively (choosing parents with good genes and looks) for profit.
