- Random 2013/03/25 12:51:02 (edited)LessThere are many requirements attached to my working hours. I'm not allowed to work more than 38 hours a week (excluding lunch hours which are unpaid anyway) can't do more than 6 shifts in a row and I have to have at least 10 hours between each of my shifts, unless I'm doing a split shift, which sucks so I don't do them.reply

- John 2013/02/20 18:08:15MoreIt is hard to be exact. I get paid by the project. I do most of my work form home and I work when I feel like working which is usually late at night and early mornings. I just need to submit progress reports and meet deadlines.reply

- Oliver Presley 2013/02/20 03:42:01MoreI usually work more than 40 hours, I only claim 40 hours though. The 40 hour work week, mandatory overtime for hours over 40, sucks for people who want to work more hours to make ends meet; because by law, it's not cost effective to allow people to work anymore than 40 hours. Sorry poor people, rich people in Washington needed to get elected, and they seemed to be doing a good deed by regulating how much you are "forced" to work.reply

+1It's actually set at the state level. Federal employees were given the 40 hour work week in 1946, the nation followed suit in the 1950's. So ... no ....reply - Major Mel 2013/02/19 21:09:49Less+1I'm almost 70 and retired!reply
