I prefer not to. For some reason there is something sort of nasty about that slimey stuff!

Soap or Jergens works better lol. But to answer your question seriously, I prefer soap n water over sanitizer.

Only when soap and water are not available. I keep some in the car, but I don't care for that stuff. I hate how it feels and smells. I was taught how to use soap and water as a child and I rarely ever get sick.

Not after I read and did more research on the dangers of using this stuff.

Not hand sanitizer 'cuz it's sticky and I hate that feeling on my hands. I carry hand wipes but only use them if it's absolutely necessary. Like I put my hand on something and wind up with something gross on it.
Not often though because you wind up getting rid of a lot of the good bacteria too.

Soap and Water. I don't want any chemical residue left on my hand.

Yes, but not often. I do, however, use antibacterial soap with triclosan a lot throughout the day. Hmmm...oh well.

But it's the alcohol-based kind, it does not contain triclosan (the chemical responsible). Before you stop using your hand sanitizer, check for that ingredient. Purell and others like it are fine! You're more likely to find triclosan in antibacterial soaps.

Maybe, but at least when I'm using soap and water, I can rinse the excess off.

Yes, soap and water is best, but you should pick a soap that's not antibacterial. It works just as well.

But only when I REALLY can't get to good old soap and water. It dries my hands out too much.

Such things reduce the body's immunity to bacteria and make allergies more likely.

I use it when I go into icky public restrooms because I don't want to have to wash my hands and touch the doorknob afterwards. I just put it on when I get out instead.

Only if there's no other option available. It's very drying on your hands as well.
