They are cited and fact checked frequently. Schools hate Wikipedia, not because of accuracy, but because of a lack of bias in the articles.

I trust it for info on most everyday topics but I would never rely on it as an exclusive source-- especially when dealing with more controversial subject matter.

Sometimes they do, the advantage to them is they have facts on almost anything but a smart person will and should always get a second opinion and the internet has thousands of them.. It's always best to double check everything.

The binary answers again. Yes, I trust some facts on wikipedia, but not all, of course. There is no totally accurate and complete enough, for honesty's sake, source in the world.

I take most everything I read with a small salt mine...
