Following a hoax post that went viral, Facebook has reassured its users that they, not the company, own the copyright to the content they post on the social network.

This weekend, a number of users on the site began re-posting the viral status update proclaiming that users, not Facebook, own the copyrights to their content. The viral post implies that Facebook owns the copyright.

I DO have a FB page, and I use it to post articles on the corrupt Terrorist Gov, the fascist and communistic agenda of Obama and all his cronies. I shed light on the satanic types that want to enslave US, and the world, for their monetary, political, and power gain tactics(Zionists). So does FaceBook Inc (FBI data mining and record dept) offer any positive outlet for Americans, and others? Yes, what I just stated, just don't post any personal info (address, vacation time, numbers), and they only have a small file on you. Be safe, not unsecure. Buy guns and bullets, you don't have to shoot any neighbors or SecServ, unless they come to take your Constitutional rights and freedom, illegally, away from you. Arm yourself like the other 60+ % of Americans, almost time to reclaim our White House, Constitution, and right of freedom.

I didnt a long time ago, used to find bad articles on Yahoo! about it. But lately i havent. Sounds like they fixed some things. And Mark is a pretty cool guy, from the videos i have seen and articles i have read about him. And havent had any problems with the site itself.And wow only one real yes. I like the comment too.

The only reason i have a facebook account is because one of my family members created to annoy me and Facebook doesn't delete your information even when you delete your account so you might as well get what you can out of the damn thing. Google, Microsoft and Facebook are all different Internet mafia factions so no you can't trust them at all.

I always tell people there are only three people I trust and I gave birth to them. 'Friend' is a word most people have no concept of the meaning. I've been betrayed and hurt by 'friends' so I'm in agreement with you. :)

Good idea, these folks who post photos of themselves and family doing things everywhere arte opening themselves up for trouble, esp those who post photo's of kids. There are a lot of perverts out there who cruise these sites for victims.
