I don't think that women over 30 need to adhere to some arbitrary "age appropriate" dress code. That said, there are some styles which don't look good on anyone over, say 16. And some women DO get a bit carried away w/the youthful thing.
I think ALL people should dress appropriate. There is no legit reason for your pants to be below your ass, your skirt to be above your ass, or for your boobs to be popping out of your top.
How do dress depends on life choices like your job, your activities, your physical condition, or whether or not you have children (don't be a bad influence on your kid!). I've seen some 30 somethings pull off youthful clothing better than teenagers.
who Defines what is Appropitate?
my Fiance is 45 and I encourage her to show off her beautiful body i am Proud as her man to have her show some Cleavage and her legs and make her feel Sexy and intelligent and a Woman
Well, this is a bit arbitrary. where it really applies is when it's noticeable. I've seen older women who try too much to look like their teen daughters, to the point where it's kind of sad. How a person dresses does reflect their level of maturity, now a girl in a crop top and hot pants is going to be taken less seriously than the woman in a blazer and dress pants. As for women who are 30 and over- well 30 is still relatively 'young' - and we consider 40 the new 30 nowadays.
Seriously .. they are adults and can make their own choices ..
Another may not consider it 'appropriate' ..
but it is the WEARER who needs to be comfortable in their clothes ..
I don't think there's any such thing as "age appropriate". I think such things have much more to do with "body appropriate" than a chronological number.
age certainly is just a number after all (:
Women should dress how they want.
