Do you think that there should be Pro-Life Clinics , set up to reduce abortions, and should they be funded with equal tax payer funds as are given to Planned Parenthood ?
I needed an undecided - I chose no because I don't think the gov should be funding planned parenthood to begin with. So for the same reasons I don't think they should fund an equal but opposite organization either.
No other group except the military and judicial are allowed to make life-ending decisions. Mothers should not be encouraged to kill their own offspring. Planned Parenthood deliberately denies information to mothers-to-be in order to make abortions easier to stomach, at least until the deed is done. In all fairness, SOMEONE needs to speak up for the smallest and most helpless among us.
If they're funding Planned Parenthood, they probably should also be funding a pro-life unplanned pregnancy center which is advertised as a place to go to for help-- a center for crisis pregnancies that will give you any support you need, help you arrange adoption, ect. However, I don't think either should be given tax-payer funds.
That's actually a very good idea. Having a baby can certainly be every bit as traumatic a decision as terminating a pregnancy. So long as they were not used to preach to people about their views on abortion, but were there as a resource for people who needed the help and support. I mean, isn't that the way Planned Parenthood is supposed to operate, also?

How are you doing buddy?? We went on a three week vacation and had such fun - toured the west coast from Northern California to Seattle along highway 101 - absolutely gorgeous.
What would be the point? IF a woman is pregant and wishes to bring the baby to term all she needs are periodic visits to a OB/GYN until time for delivery. What services would be offered by a "pro-life" clinic? There are already agencies in place to provide aid for indigent pregant women, like prenatal vitamins, exams, etc.
i think she means something like this for women who might be "indigent" or something...... http://images.christianpost.c... (they will let the woman stay there, because probably most often the woman would be harassed by the family for being pregnant and not married, etc. etc......or other reasons that are personal to the woman, and should be respected.). (i knew a lady once who was considering going to live at a place like this as an option for her newborn, not yet born child...i think she went and moved back in with her husband or something.....)
Excluding abortion, all that you cite - wouldn't it be fair to fund a group that did not do abortions with the same dedication as the one who does abortions
lol
I did 101 in Cali But haven't been up to WA - I bet it was really beautiful.
So glad you had a good time. Welcome back.
