IT'S EASY TO POINT YOUR FINGER WHEN YOU SEE YOURSELF AS THE ONE FORGIVEN AND SEE EVERYONE ELSE DOESN'T HAVE IT ALREADY BUT THEY NEED IT FROM YOU...IT PUTS YOU ON TOO HIGH A PEDASTOOL SO IT'S BEST TO FALL OFF FAST AND TIP OVER INTO A BETTER PERSPECTIVE, NOT ON RELIGION, BUT JUST SIMPLY ON ENJOYING THE MOMENTS THAT SURROUND YOUR EVERY MOVE DAILY.
There are many who are very strict yet keep to themselves others now will say that they think they're better than everyone else. I have met many strictly religious judgmental people but the are not the majority.
I don't know. I think some of them do it without even realizing. For example, I was eating lunch with another student and he commented on how I had left food on my plate. I said, "Yeah, I know. I can be wasteful sometimes." He gave me a horrified look and told me it was a sin.... So I think because there are SO many sins, strict religious people tend to judge other people for breaking their God's rules.
I think it varies from individual to individual...so perhaps we should not be so judgmental. I think Liberal zealots are the most judgmental and hypocritical societal segment group that there is -- could any more "hate" spew from the "peace-love-equality" group than these wing-nuts?
Its funny that people who belong to very strong religious organizations, try to employ their beliefs on others. My question is this.......Do they take the time to understand, or explore where their beliefs came from, why they believe what they do, and if told to believe something from a book that is written by MEN, (NOT GOD), is taken as fact, most rational people would question that. Also, if there are different versions of the same book, which one is right? We will never know. DO THEY? The belief that one person is better than another, goes against what I have read in every major religious text. Its only when MAN corrupts the root message. (LOVE, EQUALITY, RESPECT, HUMILITY, and HONESTY)., that things go downhill.
.If your GOD created it, and God does not make mistakes, then all things are the way they because THATS THE WAY "GOD" wanted it to be.. If you try to interject your beliefs upon others, then you are interfering with Gods work.
More often then naught yes. Don't get me wrong there are some people who are religious who are not judgmental but it's the judgmental ones who make up the majority.
Rigidly religious people may be judgmental, but these days they PALE in comparison to rigidly NON-religious people!

Think about it.
I am not perfect and never will be while on this planet. But I try to set an example of what I have learned in my many years serving God and people.
