Do you think teens should only be allowed to drive at 18? Not sure what I'm talking about? Well, I heard somewhere that the law would be changed; that teens would only be allowed to drive at 18 years old. Do you agree with this rumor...do you think that kids are still too young at 16 and should wait a couple more years? Or do you think this rumor is ridiculous; the law should not change...16 is a perfectly reasonable age to start driving. So, what will it be: 16...or 18?

Just because idiots decide to screw up driving for every 16 year old doesn't mean 16 year olds should pay the price!

Well there are pro and cons to each. Germany has that rule, there arnt as many youth accidents over there because of it. With age come responsibility. However you shouldn't punish the whole for the actions of a few.

16 is fine. You need experience before you head off to college and enter an unfamiliar campus and city. 16 is a good age because you can take your time learning it and not just graduate high school and then feel the need to rush things. Drivers need experience, but how else are you going to get experience? 18 is for smoking, 21 is for drinking, and 16 should be for driving.

I totally agree!!! Not only that but just because idiots decide to be stupid and do whatever that made them crash doesn't mean every single 16 yr. old has to pay the price.

Wow, I'm surprised by everyone who prefers 18...not that their answers are wrong, they are perfectly reasonable, but I just though lots of teens would want 16! :)

many 16 year olds are probably responsible enough especially if they are driving with a parent. unfortunately there are too many 16 year olds who are not, especially those who like to text and drive or are easily distracted when driving with other teens.

i think that in order to get your license at 16, you have to pass all of your test or take a diving text and you have to be excellent at it....just my opinion!!:)
