Rich people do awful things to have fun.

HAHAJK.COM reports:
The least cool thing anybody could ever do ever is become a rich white person. How do I know this? Well... I was born one and my 17 years of exposure to the world of annoying millionaires has given me a unique insight into the hobbies of the vapid and listless.
rich people

As a kid...we had fun creating and playing with simple things... VERY LITTLE MONEY involved. Money buys a moment, not happiness

poor people have a lot of fun making babies and getting free Obama money. rich people have fun giving their money to the poor people with lots of babies.

... but people who spend all their time worrying about it don't know how to enjoy it ... i work for 2 guys who have hundreds of millions of bucks stashed away but it isn't enough (even though neither of them has a family or loved ones or anything) and they are major a-holes and stress out themselves and everybody else around them with problems they create because they are too clueless to realize how great they have it (they spend millions of bucks on lawyers - like me - who work their asses off trying to get and keep them out of trouble, but they keep messing things up day in and day out) - we're all convinced that one of them HAS to be on some kind of amphetamine or something because he talks so damned fast that he can't even get a whole sentence out without stumbling and stammering and repeating a word or two here and there as if his brain is suffering from an electrical storm - i'm not kidding about this, but i won't tell you who it is, because you'd just be able to find them immediately by doing a Google search ...

Certain fun things require a certain amount of money, others are free; rich or poor, your character is more important than your wallet.

We learn to live with simple things. You know you're talking to real people when they stand a little taller, are a little friendlier to strangers and look at the importance of family. Singer Darius Rucker said it best: "As far as I'm concerned, I got everything I want"

Could be reversed for kids and adults. I don't think a lot of poor adults are having much fun these days, but poor kids can always find something that's fun. Conversely, if rich adults are having a blast, their kids may be miserable (neglected, left to nannies, not being taught skills and values they'll need as adults, etc.).

Anyone will want to get out of his "ordinary zone" to have fun. The richer you are, the harder that gets! When you can get off and go to Paris, or Tahiti, or wherever, any time you want to, suddenly those places aren't so special anymore. *Now what???*

I maintain that not-so-rich people can better appreciate what life has to offer.

I heard a story once about a "rich" boy who visited with a "poor" family. He came back and told his father that he thought his *own* family was the poorer! As an example: "We had to build a tiny pond, and I can swim from end to end in less than a minute. While those boys have a creek that seems to go on forever--and they don't have to put all that chemical stuff into theirs, and it's a lot more interesting!"

I won't vouch that a thing like that actually happened. But I can believe it.

It's all a matter of perspective.

This is very true. I dated a man who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth; he complained about the car I drove, where I lived, where my family lived, etc. But you know what? He had the most pathetic family life I'd ever seen. He never even learned how to ride a bike.
