Not while the governments of these 'poor' countries rip off the aid agencies ,by taking what they want first..I have been to some of these countries,and it appaling the way the army and the government rob the people of the basic food that we in the west send to the needy ...

No it will never end it seems nobody really cares .. It has been this way from the start of time and it will never end ... Not to mention you can't really help some one by giving a hand out you need to give a hand up the best help one can find is at the end of there arm

the only way to make a major step in eliminating poverty would be to evacuate most of the African subcontinent, which is unworkable. People live there although the climate is arid and crops wont grow

Though Earth is bountiful, majority of human race are very greedy. I doubt poverty will ever end, especially with constant wars, diseases, and ignorance. Unless an outer force intervenes, Earth will continue to decay in starvation, disease, murders, torture, wars, deceitful governments, monstrous pollution of our oceans, forests, and air quality. Over population will also be a major destruction.

NOT POSSIBLE. Humans who have no way of feeding their kids, have never figured out they need to STOP having kids, or not have them at all. As long as someone somewhere will take responsibility by feeding these people, the problem can only get worse.
