Thanks. No fighting here. How do you know their memories werent somehow "garbled" (remember the "telephone" game where you would whisper something to someone and they would whisper it to someone else and by the time it got back to you it was completley different?)reply - strawberry Chewy 2012/05/22 01:42:14
Many very old writings by the Apostle Thomas were found ages later. They were never put into the Bible. Even writings by Mary Magdelene were found. The Bible is a mixure of some fact and fiction and misunderstanding, also deceitfulness. I believe some Apostles did use memory, but many years later they did writings. These documents have enough proof that Jesus walked this Earth, teaching. From angels appearing. disappearing, it sounds as if aliens were on Earth at that time.reply - D D Chewy 2012/05/22 06:29:48
It is my own conclusion. I am pretty sure much was written 30+ years after his death. I do firmly believe they wrote with integrity and to the best of their recollection. I believe they got the most important parts of his message out. Now, this is not saying whether Jesus was the Messiah or not. I am just saying his message and his followers account.reply - strawberry D D 2012/05/22 01:50:35
I agree with you, especially the Vatican full of gold bars, all those men wearing stupid hats, long robes. I see the Vatican as total greed, deceitfulness, and ignorance. They persecuted scientists in old times. I have gone through just about every formal religion and find none of them represent Jesus at all. Religion is dangerous, causing ignorance, wars, judgement, etc. I have to say it is ridiculous to say Jesus did not exist. Who Jesus really was is another story. The Bible is fact, fiction, misunderstanding, added false information, information left out.reply - classic Chewy 2012/05/21 14:21:36
These Bible humpers should read the History of Constitine and the Council of Nicea.....They held an election and it took over 3 years for them to decide which of the fictional people to diefy and proclaim them as christ,., this was 325 years after all the fairy tales.....reply -

Yep, and good old constitine had thousands murdered that refused to accept his new religion.. However he was such a hypocrite that he didnt accept this christ untill he was on his deathbed,, He kept a priest near himself so he could be baptised and be :Saved" just before he died.. He wanted to continue sinning his entire life... He also murdered his own wife and son... Nice guy this father of Christianity...reply - Robbb Chewy 2012/05/21 18:51:37
dont you mean creation of christians?reply - strawberry Chewy 2012/05/22 01:33:23
+1I have not believed in formal religions for a long time. I agree too much is theory claimed as facts. I know much was added to the Bible, written mainly by Jews, Greeks, with the Pope's influence what to put in, what to leave out. I believe whatever people of those times saw was misunderstood, due to their limited knowledge of science, geology, etc. I am open minded to alien possibilities. The truth is we just don't know. Something did take place. I like watching National Geographic, History, Discovery, TLC, Science channels. I believe Jesus did exist, who Jesus actually was I don't know. I don't believe what religions make up.reply -
Most scholars will concede that there was a man called Jesus...but beyond that...nada.reply - strawberry Robbb 2012/05/22 02:01:26
The Bible is a work of fiction, fact, selected writings put in, left out deliberately, misunderstandings of what people of those times actually saw. Remember they were very limited in what the Earth was about. They would never think of aliens coming from another galaxy. Unless they are all lies, shows like National Geographic, Discovery, Science, and History channels show archeologist findings. Writings by Apostle Thomas were found ages later, but never put into the Bible. I wondered why Apostles did not write anything right away, unless they had no writing equipment at all back then.?reply -
What "history"? Church history? The writings of Josephus (which are highly edited BTW)?reply - classic Chewy 2012/05/21 14:23:23
The mention of Jesus by Josephus was in interpolation, forgery added by someone in order to validate their claim of this Jesus's existance....reply -
Nope....not enough.reply - classic strawberry 2012/05/21 14:19:18

There were a whole bunch of Guys names Jesus running around back then. There was more than one that claimed to be the "Christ"reply -
Theres a whole bunch of guys running around in Mexico named Jesus too...but does that make them a God?reply - The Judge Chewy 2012/05/21 05:39:14

+1I do know. I talk to Him every moring and He has helped me though this one problem at work. Jesus answerd one of my prayers that was going to make me beleive or not beleive all depending on the way He answered it. And Jesus wants you to get to know Him. Look at Romans 3:18 and you'll see if you have eyes to see and ears to hear. Jesus is alive.reply -
How do you know it wasnt just a coincidence? What if you prayed to a milk jug and got an "answer"...would that make it "real?reply - ☆Kathar... Chewy 2012/05/21 05:17:36
+1I don't think a wooden cross showing in your back yard with no wind, and when I mean a wodden cross I mean a huge wooden cross, that couldn't be "coinncidence". That cross was there long enough for me to stop crying and look at it then run down staires and show my dad to make sure I wasn't seeing things. The next day it was gone. Onlly He could do that.reply -
How do you know? Someone couldve put it there and then took it....couldnt they?reply - ☆Kathar... Chewy 2012/05/21 05:25:43
