Bibliophilic 2012/07/13 23:08:21Yes, but it is getting better+23Yes, the majority of men don't have to think of the possibility of being raped when walking to the car. Also, men can expect to be paid what they're worth, unless theres another form of discrimination at hand. It's easier to be a man in the workplace, especially a single man. Single women do not often receive the respect that single men do. Women are expected to 'let men down easily' and always be receptive to their advances, but the same is not said of men. When a woman wants to have sex with different people she is called a slut, but most of the time it's accepted for a man to do so. It's easier to be a man, unless you already face discrimination based on race or sexuality etc.

But we are good at getting what we want out of men just have to act sexy a guy buys a drink. :)
worst scenario, we are left behind after long years of togetherness for a new younger partner to be!
The only thing, logically, that makes it being harder to be a woman is bleeding from a certain area and getting pain. At least for some women.
Now, you could argue the whole, having to wax/shave, dress, make-up, live up to "expectations" and such. But honestly, you don't have to. You choose to.
The only thing, in my entire life, that has made it harder to be a woman is the certain time every month. Other then that, me and my girlfriend are just one of the guys.
Because get pregnant whether we want to or not
We get our period whether we want to or not
and well some women live in a patriarchal society where men are more dominant.
But yes its getter better...SLOWLY
You may have heard of a world counsel on women's rights (not recall the name of the conference) But women have endured your kind of thinking for thousands, if not millions of years after some figured out that they were not just the child bearing members of their species. Rather than say your idea was dim-witted, I just say it was very, very short sided and inconsiderate to every woman and girl on the planet who prefers to control their own sexual and personal destiny!
There are a few kinds of pill that are advertised that way. Most birth control pills do not prevent a period, they just prevent ovulation or implantation.
