If I turn to leave after being hit, and she continues. I block...(dern hard). And make a point to not be where she is...as much as is possible.

In our family my brother's were taught if a girl hits you 3 times and you have warned her each time and she doesn't stop then slap her back , not hard, just enough for her to wake up to herself, because it's not acceptable for anybody to belt into anyone time and time again, regardless of being a women

Self defence is always permissible. However, the return force should be no more than is necessary to defend himself.

Hitting as a means of self defense is justified, but hitting simply because one has been hit first is not.

Men have a right to defend themselves, even against vengeful women. Don't hit anybody if you're not ready to be hit, or worse, in return. Being female does not grant violence rights to any woman.

If she's that confident to raise her hand at someone then she deserves the same back. Why is she doing the hitting in the first place? No girl should be hitting or fighting. It's dirty and you're not a girl if thats your thing. You're a dog. And a lot of girls hit guys knowing that guys can't hit back in turn using that against them. Those girls need to be hit twice as hard. Maybe it will teach them. Keep your hands to yourself.

if someone takes a swing at you; you have the right to swing back regardless of any condition. even if your attacker is in an iron lung; though at that point i would be cruel and stand just outside their range egging them on.

A guy should be able to disarm a girl without hitting her, even if she comes after him with a knife. Women are the bearers life. Hence, they are sacred.

If she's got a knife and she's serious about using it, I wouldn't hit her.

Yes, IF she is directly intending to seriously harm him and he needs to hit back to defend himself. That should be the only reason for ANYONE to hit anybody else.

It isn't okay for a girl to hit the guy either but I have had a few girls hit me and I never have hit one back. Real men don't hit women. Violence isn't right though regardless of gender though.

Not condoning the girls actions at all but any man who isnt capable of walking away from a woman if he physically can, isnt a man at all.

Violence logically begets violence. Those who don't want to be hit should not hit. My ex used to slap me all the time--and rather hard at that. This went on for almost a year until I finally backhanded her with my fist in the chest. She bitched and moaned for what seemed like hours after she finally caught her breath, but she NEVER hit me again.

And I never hit her again, either.

In some circumstances. If she's belting him across the face, he can fight back in self defence. If she hits him lightly, he should only hit her lightly. It depends on a lot of things as to whether he stepped over the line. If he's a big strong man and she's a small woman and he can just grab her arms or something, he should do that.

However sometimes it's necessary.

A girl the same age as my son kept slapping him in the face, for no reason, she would just walk up to him and slap him, he would stomp home furious because he felt he was powerless against her attacks. Of course her parents thought it was cute, and felt she was only seeking his attention.
One day I called her over to my house and explained to her I never allowed my son to hit girls, but in her case I would make an exception, if she slapped him again he had my permission to hit her back. I told her parents as well, of course they were furious that I would allow my son to hit their precious psychotic daughter. Needless to say she never did it again.

It was TOTALLY against my beliefs to council him to hit back, but I felt there was no other recourse.

Depends on how hard. If you got cut or bruised or anything broken, then you got the right to defend yourself. But it gonna look good in court. It always spirals down into the he said/ she said, he did/she did ugly mess.

And to those that say walk away, most fights that start don't end with walking away. If the women is pissed enough to assault you, she's probably pissed off enough to peruse you and continue beating your ass unless you start sprinting for help.

Being passive doesn't keep you from getting your ass kicked.

As long as he uses a roughly equal amount of force. Basic self-defense is entirely justified.
