Quality not quantity. Takes a long time to really figure out who you are and want to be, to know who you really want to be with.

I'm 19 and I only dated one guy. Been with him for 3 years. Sometimes you just find that person who's right for you straight away. It hasn't been easy, I was scared that I was making a mistake only being with one guy and commiting too early, while my friends where out dating loads of guys.

But I realised that a guy who respects me and treats me right and loves me for all my craziness and weirdness is rare. He's also the only guy I've ever kissed, and despite what most girls are telling me, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything, because I know he's here when I need him the most and to support me through it all.

She must have problems with herself trusting and adapting to other men, one guy doesn't mean you have to sit with a ball and chain around your angle, It's good to test the waters sometimes instead of staying at the shore, you'll never know... you may even find someone more interesting.

That's a really lame question, obviously society is getting to you.
Date who you want, when you want. Not because "Everyone at your age has dated at least 5 guys and slept with 3". I've never had a BF (all guys I've met so far either are not my type, I don't see as bf material or I see as brothers. Even the ones I get crushes on through appearance, I observe them, talk to them and if I don't like their behaviour I move on). Take it slow, you got your whole life ahead of you :]

Perhaps it is less usual than to have dated multiple guys, I really don't know - but that wouldn't make it abnormal. It doesn't MEAN anything.

I went to an all-girl's school and then directly into full-time employment (I decided I'd go to university when I actually knew what I wanted to do) and, as such, I didn't associate with ANY guys around my age until I was 20. And that was when I started dating my first boyfriend whom I'm STILL dating almost 5 years later.

Of course it isn't. If anything, dating tons of people in a short period of time is what's abnormal. Give yourself a pat on the back for not dating on and off constantly, and keep up your preferred pace.
