    It's theoretically possible and we're already working on for our military. (UK), it works by bending light. We can already make our tanks invisible to infra red.

    some Asians have actually developed a technology, where you put on this rain coat looking thing, but it's actually made out of TINY glass beeds, acting like a movie theater screen. Behind the person there is a camera recording what is happening behind them, and infront of them is the camera that projects the image on the "rain coat".

    Probably not absolutely perfect though near.

    The use of nano computers combined with fibre optic cameras/displays woven in clothing to offset the object or person from surrounding scenery.

    A good example would be the cloaked car in James Bond or the cloak suit in Ghost In The Shell.

    there have already been R&D; advancements in this field.
