Do you think it is healthy to sexually satisfy yourself once in a while, even though you have a partner?

I was asked this question and I had no clue how to answer. Although I would think it healthy to explore and know your own body and what you like, I still have no clue how to answer this question.

It's healthy to be sexually satisfied, and rarely are two people 100% compatible. Even if they are 95% compatible, that might mean once in a while one must get themselves off :)

If you're jealous of your partner's own hand, then you have a serious problem.

You need to explore your own body, that doesn't always mean having your partner along. Enjoy yourself! Then enjoy yourself with your partner! Lol

Physically there's nothing wrong with it, and the moral aspect is an individual choice, however, if it bothers your significant other, then just make sure they're ready to satisfy your needs and that you're ready to satisfy theirs, and give it up.

No! What sort of question is this?! So basically you're saying even though you have a partner you can cheat on him/her? What's this world coming to? So much sexual deviancies.
  • Mechelle Andrew 2012/06/21 16:10:35

I ask a question. It was not a statement or an opinion. That said, would you not need ANOTHER person involved for it to be cheating? Again, if you read the WHOLE post, I was asking a question that was asked to me. I'm simply trying to get an assortment of answers.

Well maybe not but it's still gross. And in a way it sort of is because they're probably doing it over someone else.

Masterbation is VERY normal, and healthy. I actually have to say I think something is wrong with you.
  • Andrew Alexis 2012/10/23 23:05:29

You have to have self control over those things. Your body doesn't belong to you. You must respect it and not defile it in any sort of way.
  • Alexis Andrew 2012/10/23 23:07:06
    Alexis
My body doesn't belong to me? To whom does my body belong to? Because I'd be damned if anyone told me what I can do with my body.
  • Andrew Alexis 2012/12/20 07:30:13
    Andrew
Whether you like it or not it belongs to God. You do not own yourself. Some people who have this attitude that I belong to myself justify hurting themselves like cutting themselves which can result in death which doesn't just affect them but they're family, friends.

Very rarely are both partners always in the mood every time the other one is and never anytime else. Plus, a person knows their body in ways no one else can. Doesn't mean you're replacing them. After all, their are things a partner can do that hand can not.
