Facebook keeps doing absolutely obnoxious things to privacy. I'd consider leaving it if there were a viable option.

If facebook keeps changing, someone will be like "hey this sucks, let's make something that's the exact same with a different name that is just as lame as facebook

No brainer. I personally have no use for facebook but to answer the question things never stay the same there is always something in the wings that will replace what we have now and farther in the future there will be something to replace that item.
But honestly when the next major war happens one of the first casualties of that war will be the internet.

If Facebook can eclipse MySpace, then yeah, something new can eventually come along and be the next big thing in social networking.

Just like "My Space", Facebook will continue to exist, but I think it's newer membership has already peaked.
I embrace family with personal emails and cards via the Post Office. Yeah, they're still some of us who still write with a pen in our hand. I admit we are a dying breed.

More then likely. Bebo use to be a big thing, then it was Myspace now its Facebook and Twitter something will come along eventually that will make those obsolete.

Facebook to me is starting to get old, REALLY old. And kinda boring. So to me, 99.9% chance there will be a site that is trillions times better than FB in the future!!!!!!

It always happens. First it was friendster, then multiply, then myspace, then facebook. Give us a few more years and we'd have moved on. Thats how it goes.

Facebook can't be the top social networking site forever. People will eventually move on to something else.

Inevitable. Maybe folks will return to a 'Here & Now' existence. Most I see on the street are 'elsewhere'.

Well, in MY life Facebook has been "eclipsed" by Tumblr. I'm on there most of the time, whether I'm on the computer or on my phone...oops!

I don't understand the hype about Twitter though, I refuse to create one.

Judging from the spam I am getting from one place, Obamabook is trying awfully hard to get my attention. They got it on the first day of my over 850 days of unemployment and with my new job paying less than half!

No. Facebook is used to just talk to friends really...I don't see why they would keep making more and more social networking sites just like facebook when we already have facebook.
