The consequences are being a parent. Most likely single. Unemployable. A burden on someone else. That's just being selfish. Wait till you can at least feed it before thinking it's something you need to be doing. Once you are old enough to do it right, you'll be doing it for 50 or 60 years. There really is no reason to rush it.

I think that you can have sex only if you are ready to take care of a baby. 14 year olds can't do that. And only if you love them....a lot. And trust them.... A LOT.

my opinion doesn't really matter because it's going to happen. Many 14 year olds in my high school are having sex and there's nothing anyone can do to change that. just make contraceptives more available

Absolutely 14 years old is too young to be having sex. Someone 14 years old is in no way mature enough to handle that kind of relationship. It is a life changing experience. It's meant to be special -- not something to be cheapened by just doing it at the drop of a hat. The possibility of bringing a baby into this world is very high. Children having children is not a good thing -- not fair to the babies for sure. The risks involved can be life ending.

Fourteen year olds shouldn't even think about having sex in my opinion. Unless they're in a relationship, but other than that ... When I was fourteen I thought about my parents' divorce and cramming for school because my grades were failing.
